The LC7 swivel chair evolved from one of a number of experiments. As the Le Corbusier group refined such trials, a sensuous solution took form. Rest comfortably on the LC7 swivel chair knowing you’ve enlivened your interior with a genuine iconic artefact of modernist culture. It was first exhibited at the 1928 Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and later integrated into the beloved LC collection, co-signed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. It embodies her pioneering ideas of ‘structure as decoration’ and serves as both a dining and lounge chair.
