Conditions of Use
By accessing this website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following conditions. If you do not agree to these conditions, you may not use this website.
Registration
When registering as a customer, you must provide accurate and complete personal information. You must notify us immediately of any changes to your personal information.
Contract
Once we receive your payment, we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending you an email to the address provided in your order form. This acceptance creates a legally binding contract between us.
Prices
The prices listed on our website are final and do not include delivery costs, which will be added at checkout before order confirmation. All prices in GBP include VAT, but prices in other currencies do not. For international orders, the customer is responsible for all cross-border duties and taxes.
Order Confirmation
Once we have received your order, we will send an electronic invoice to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase. You must enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email to facilitate any contact with customer service you may have in the future. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a guarantee of proof of purchase.
Payment
You may pay with either credit, debit cards or bank deposits. Wix Payment manages all of our online transactions. Bonne Mod does not store any credit card numbers.
- Pay with your Visa, AMEX or MasterCard securely over the Internet. Your payment is handled by Wix Payment with secure encryption and under strict banking standards.
- Your card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your bank. There is no extra charge for card payments.
- When paying by credit/debit card, the conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. If no payment has been received after submitting your order, Bonne Mod may automatically cancel your order.
- Payment by bank transfer must be received within ten working days from the order, otherwise the order will become void.
Product Information
Some of our products are high-quality reproductions and are not originals. Our items are quality replicas inspired by the style but are not exact replicas of the original design. The actual designer does not produce our products, nor is Bonne Mod affiliated with the official manufacturers. Any mention of the designer or original product name is only for descriptive purposes.
Every effort is made to ensure the integrity of colour in our images. However, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match due to inherent digital colour variations. Colours should be considered an approximation. Descriptions and measurements are given in good faith; minor variations may occur and measurements are approximate.
It is impossible to guarantee uniformity of colour, grain or texture of natural materials (leather, marble, wood, stone). Similar products bought at different times may not be a perfect match.
The majority of our products are fully assembled, but certain products will require some assembly.
Lead Times
Standard and in-stock items advertise a lead time of 6–8 weeks. This does not include the processing period or customs clearance.
Made-to-Order items have an estimated lead time between 14–18 weeks. This can vary due to:
- Shipping: loading delays, weather, port congestion, customs—factors outside our control.
- Production: availability of raw materials, public holidays, and manufacturing schedules.
- Date of Order: we import roughly once a month; orders missing a cut-off join the next shipment.
As part of the terms on Made-to-Order, you must allow 18 weeks for arrival; if there are further delays, we will contact you. Lead times around August and over Christmas/February (Chinese New Year) may extend due to supplier closures.
Delivery
We will deliver your order to the delivery address given at the time you place your order. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on size, weight and destination. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after order acceptance, subject to the product’s lead time. Delivery times are estimates.
The goods are adequately packed for travel and are at the customer’s risk from the time of delivery to the carrier. Check packages immediately upon delivery.
If you cannot take delivery, a second attempt or depot collection may be arranged. If delivery attempts fail or incorrect details cause a return, we may cancel the order and deduct 20% of the order value to cover return, storage and insurance.
On delivery, check the condition of the goods before signing. If damage is noted, reject the products or write precise, handwritten reservations on the delivery note and confirm to the carrier by registered letter within three (3) working days, with a copy to Bonne Mod Ltd, 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, EC2A 4NE London, UK. Failure to do so is taken as acceptance that goods were received in perfect condition.
Import Duty (Non-UK Orders)
Goods ordered from outside the UK may be subject to customs fees, duties, and taxes payable before delivery. All cross-border duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility. Failure to pay may cause delays, storage fees, return of goods, and further costs. We reserve the right to deduct 20% of the order value from any refund to cover return, storage and insurance for shipments refused at customs.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
In exceptional events beyond our control, we may cancel, change or suspend operations. We are not liable for delays caused by such events. If an event outside our control delays supply, we will inform you as soon as possible. We won’t be liable for the delay; if there is a risk of substantial delay, we may handle it via financial reimbursement at our discretion.
Right to Withdrawal
Consumers may return standard (non-custom) orders within 14 days of receipt, provided the product and original packaging are returned in the same condition.
- Courier damages or incorrect deliveries must be reported by email with clear photos within three days of receipt.
- Return costs are the customer’s responsibility.
- Goods will be inspected on receipt. If damaged in transit, we will notify you to claim with your chosen carrier; in that case the withdrawal request is cancelled and the product made available for your collection.
- Bonne Mod is not responsible for damage or loss of goods returned via uninsured shipments.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to Made-to-Order, custom-made, or COM (Customer’s Own Material) items.
Cancellation
Made-to-Order and custom-made items can only be cancelled or modified within seven days of placing the order. After this time, manufacture is presumed to have commenced and cancellation or modification is no longer possible. COM items are final.
Cancellation and refund of Made-to-Order and custom-made items is only possible if your order is not delivered before the 30th calendar week.
Replacement
For Made-to-Order or custom-made items received damaged or defective, after inspection we will repair or arrange a replacement at no cost, provided the customer:
- Inspects packaging upon delivery and photographs any external damage; informs the courier at delivery.
- Keeps all packaging (it may be needed for any claim).
- Unpacks and inspects immediately; claims for delivery damage or defect must be made within three days.
- Submits any claim by email with photographic evidence.
- Returns goods in original packaging to prevent further damage.
Returning Faulty or Damaged Goods (Standard Items)
For standard items delivered damaged or defective, after inspection we may repair, replace or accept a return within seven days of receipt, provided that you:
- Inspect packaging on delivery and photograph any external damage; inform the courier immediately.
- Retain all packaging for inspection by the courier.
- Unpack and inspect upon receipt; claims cannot be made after three days.
- Submit claims by email with photographic evidence.
- Where possible, return goods in original packaging to prevent damage.
If you wish to return a standard, non-damaged item, contact us by email within 48 hours of receipt and complete written return notification within 7 days of delivery. Items must be returned within 14 days in perfect, unused condition and original packaging, including your order reference.
For large/special-handling returns, we may nominate a specialist carrier and pass the transport cost onto the client. Missed collections may incur additional charges. Once we receive the goods in perfect condition, we issue a store credit for the goods’ cost (minus any delivery charges) and reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee. Credit notes are processed within ten working days.
Manufacturer’s warranty is 12 months for manufacturing defects only. Damage during use/installation is not covered. After 14 days, items are covered by a return-to-base warranty for repair or replacement. Minor blemishes in acrylic/fibreglass are not considered damage unless significant.
Customers must ensure products fit through access routes. Miscalculations require a return under the 14-day ruling; shipping both ways is chargeable. We are not responsible for damage caused by the customer after delivery.
Made-to-Order items have the same 12-month warranty but are not covered by the 14-day return rule. Order samples in advance to ensure suitability. For issues from EU countries, we typically handle financial reimbursement or replacement parts rather than collecting returns. Warranty is void if items are modified from their original condition.
Liability
- We are not liable for business losses (including profits, revenue, contracts, savings, data, goodwill, or expenditure) or any indirect/consequential loss unforeseeable at contract formation.
- If goods delivered are not what you ordered, are damaged, defective, or of incorrect quantity, we are not liable unless you notify us within three working days of delivery.
- We will refund only the amount paid for the goods in question (minus any delivery charge). We are not liable for compensation beyond this amount.
- We are not liable for delays in production, delivery, customs clearance or third-party services.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are subject to English law. By accepting them, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts concerning any disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions or the contract between us.
Bonne Mod reserves the right to change, correct or update any information on this website without notice.
Acceptance of Purchase Terms
